As you may have noticed from the obnoxious amount of pictures I uploaded, I went to a gay pride parade today! It was amazing and fun and really cool. My mom and I went with the senior youth group at our church. I took a bunch a pictures, and I'll probably put up a couple more. (But only a couple, I promise! XD)

When we first got there and were looking at the schedule, I saw that Freezepop was going to be playing and got so psyched! What a surprise! I had no idea they were going to be there! What an awesome band. So I got to see them play like five songs, one of which was Plastic Stars. Totally cool! I recorded most of my two favorite songs before my camera died; I'll put them up on youtube soon.

Yaaaaay~ what a good day it was. It was so cool and fun to be there, and we didn't even stay for the whole thing. My mom and I were going around the tables that different groups had set up, and a lot were handing out condoms. I didn't take them by themselves, but sometimes they were in bags with other things so now I have a little collection, lawl. There was lots of free stuff! And we marched! And chanted chants! Whoo! I want to bring people next year. XD

On a side note, Starbucks has delicious ice tea lemonade. With real tea. Like, they actually asked me what kind of tea I wanted. And I was like "Uhh...." And they said "we have black, and gre-" And I said "Oh, black." Totally.

Then I realized it was 2:05 and Freezepop was supposed to come on at 2:00 so I was like "Oh shit!" and did some epic sprinting from Starbucks back to the stage and was way early. I was like, early for sound check. Lol.
